First introduced in 2010, the Model 48 Trophy Grade Rifle™ (TGR) has already been embraced by sportsmen who demand durability as well as function from a handmade rifle. Designed with the same quality and craftsmanship as its predecessors, the TGR will quickly become one of the finest values in the shooting industry. New chamberings for 2011 are:
|.243 Winchester||7mm-08 Remington||.338 Winchester Magnum|
|.257 Roberts +P||.280 Ackley Imp. (light BBL)||.35 Whelen|
The TGR features the proven Nosler Model 48 action, a free floating 24” chrome-moly barrel and a crisp, 3 lb. Rifle Basix trigger. The award winning TGR is built for hunting in all weather conditions. Exterior metal surfaces are protected by a magnesium-colored CERAKOTE™ finish, while the critical interior working parts are protected by a smooth, corrosion-resistant coating of MicroSlick™. To ensure rugged reliability and accuracy, the barreled action is glass bedded in the internal aluminum chassis of a Bell and Carlson™ composite stock. The TGR also comes with an over-sized aluminum trigger guard to accommodate a gloved finger, an aggressively knurled bolt knob for sure grip and a blind-bottom magazine.
When teamed-up with Nosler’s Trophy Grade ammunition, sub MOA performance is guaranteed for three-shot groups at 100 yards. For 2011, Nosler will offer the Model 48 TGR in 15 big game calibers, with suggested retail price of $1795.00.
